MISSION — Mounties in Mission need the public’s help to track down a man who is suspected of breaking into a home twice in one hour, stealing firearms and fleeing by ramming his truck into a police car during an incident Wednesday morning in Mission.
According to a statement from Mission RCMP Constable Harrison Mohr, CCTV footage revealed that on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at approximately 10:45 a.m., an older white male used a pickup truck to barge into a garage door of a home on Cottonwood Street in Mission. The man subsequently entered the residence and stole multiple items including two tool boxes and a Husky air compressor.
Emboldened, the male suspect returned for a second round of crime at roughly 11:25 a.m. and stole a safe containing two firearms, jewelry and other family items.
