HOPE — Just days after a power outage sidelined hundreds of customers in Hope Sunday morning, there’s been another power outage in Hope.
BC Hydro’s outage map lists three separate outages impacting 1,892 customers west and north of Hope including the Fraser Canyon and Highwy 7 corridor; 1,775 customers affected in Silver Creek, Ruby Creek, and other areas west of Hope along Highway 1; and 1,679 customers in the Othello, Sunshine Valley and Manning Park areas. In total, 5,346 customers in Hope and the surrounding communities are without power Tuesday morning.
