Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre pool to close for nearly 2 1/2 weeks

CHILLIWACK — The aquatic facility at the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre, one of two city-owned recreation centres in town, will be closed from Monday, August 21 through Friday, September 8 for scheduled maintenance and cleaning.

The pool at the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre (9145 Corbould Street) will reopen on Saturday, September 9.

The fitness centre at Chilliwack Landing Centre will remain open. Given the pool’s closure, Chilliwack residents who have any membership concerns questions are asked to contact rec centre staff at the front desk.

The Cheam Leisure Centre pool (45501 Market Way) remains open, as does the Rotary Outdoor Pool at 46245 Cheam Avenue, though the latter will close in September since it is a seasonal pool.

The Rotary Outdoor Pool will have one final free swim this Saturday, August 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as part of the city’s 150th anniversary.
