Abbotsford Police seize coke and meth from female motorist, and take her car, too
ABBOTSFORD — Most Fraser Valley residents aren’t cruising through town with $4,400 in cash inside their vehicles.
But patrol officers from the Abbotsford Police Department got an unexpected surprise while conducting routine patrols on Ventura Lane near the Sevenoaks Shopping Centre in Abbotsford late last week.
In a tweet from the department, patrol officers stopped a female motorist who was operating a 2007 Honda Civic. During the traffic stop, officers entered into a drug trafficking investigation in which they seized $4,400 in cash, cocaine, heroin, meth and fentanyl, and her Civic.
A picture accompanying the tweet from Abbotsford PD shows 0.75 grams of an illicit substance and 13.92 grams of another substance, along with multiple $100, $50 and $20 bills.
