Chilliwack fire crews radioed dispatch at 5:45 p.m. to ask about an expected arrival of BC Hydro crews.

Power has been disconnected from the residence where the fire occurred, overhaul is complete, and fire crews will be leaving the scene soon.

Fraser Valley Today has contacted the Chilliwack RCMP and Chilliwack Fire Department to inquire about the nature of the fire.
