Child porn suspect charged, already released by the courts: RCMP
SURREY — Following a lengthy investigation of approximately 18 months by the Surrey RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE), a 30-year-old Surrey man has been arrested for luring a child, child porn possession, and sexual interference among a litany of charges.
Surrey RCMP advised Friday (Apr. 21) that charges have been laid against Tanner Adam Duffy of Surrey for four counts of luring a child under 16, three counts of child porn possession, and one count each of sexual interference, sexual assault, forcible confinement, and making sexually explicit material available to a child under 16.
Duffy was arrested on Monday, April 17 and released the next day by the courts on conditions, Surrey RCMP confirmed in a statement. Those conditions include:
- Reporting to a bail supervisor;
- Not go to any public park, public swimming area, community centre or theatre where persons under the age of 16 years are present or can reasonably be expected to be present;
- Not have any contact or communication, directly or indirectly, or be alone in the presence of, any person under the age of 16 years; and
- Not to access any computer network including the internet.
