CHILLIWACK — A garage sale like no other happens Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7350 Barrow Road in Greendale west of Chilliwack.
The annual garage sale is a fundraiser for Voice of Hope Kenya, which assists widows and orphans in Africa.
There will be a barn full of excellent used items to purchase along with concessions like coffee, cinnamon buns, hot dogs with all the fixings, chili, chips, and cold drinks.
Coffee is free, and food items are reasonably priced from BBQ’d hot dogs ($2) to chili ($3), or hot dogs, chips and a drink for $4. All proceeds benefit widows and orphans in Kenya.
