Former Raptors star Kyle Lowry to have street named after him in Toronto
TORONTO — Former Raptors star guard Kyle Lowry is getting a street named after him in Toronto.
The city announced Monday that Lowry would be among seven people lending their name to a street at Don Mills Crossing, a new development in the city’s northeast.
The announcement comes on the three-year anniversary of the Raptors winning the 2019 NBA title.
Lowry spent nine seasons with the Raptors before being dealt to the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade on Aug. 6.
