Canadian arrested in Point Roberts for alleged unlawful entry; vehicle and marijuana seized
POINT ROBERTS, WASHINGTON – Federal immigration authorities in Washington say they have arrested a Canadian citizen for illegally entering Point Roberts from Canada, resulting in the seizure of a vehicle and marijuana.
In a brief statement posted to social media on Wednesday, October 7, Border Patrol agents from the Blaine Sector of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) say a Canadian citizen was recently arrested following an alleged unlawful entry from Canada.
A U.S. citizen was cited and released for aiding the entry.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents seized the vehicle involved in the alleged unlawful entry and 1.6 grams of marijuana.
