City of Chilliwack to upgrade two intersections this fall

CHILLIWACK – The City of Chilliwack plans to make improvements to two intersections along Yale Road this fall with an underlying goal of better visibility for motorists.

According to its website, the city says upgrades to the Yale Road and Menzies Street intersection and the Five Corners intersections will happen this fall.

The Yale and Menzies intersection in the Little Mountain area of Chilliwack will receive upgraded lighting on existing infrastructure to better illuminate the intersection during the nighttime hours.

At this intersection, bike boxes or bike hook turns will be added depending on available space, the city wrote on its website.
