The impacted areas consist of homes and businesses north of Chilliwack Lake Road, east of Hopedale Road, south of Prairie Central Road, and west of Elkview Road.

In short, the affected neighbourhoods include Sardis, Promontory, Ryder Lake, and the surrounding areas.

The cause is under investigation. Crews have been assigned.

Earlier today, power was restored to over 5,500 customers who lost power shortly before 4 a.m. Their power was restored sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.
