CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack City Council will hold a public hearing next week on whether to recommend approval for separate applications to extend the liquor license hours for a downtown wine bar and a brewery near Greendale.
Councillors are set to review a request from Fortitude Wine Bar in District 1881 to extend its hours to seven days a week, as well as an application from Farmhouse Brewing, at its next meeting on Tuesday, February 21.
Fortitude Wine Bar, owned by Monica Churcher and located at 103-45922 Thunderbird Lane, is presently closed Monday and Tuesday and open Wednesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
It has submitted a Change to Hours of Liquor Service application to the B.C. Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch to expand its hours to 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
