“It was a truly inspiring event,” said Inspector Ray Monsef, Mission RCMP’s new Officer in Charge. “Even after riding hundreds of kilometres over the past few days, including the hills in Mission in the hot afternoon sun, every one of those riders arrived with a smile on their face, and an amazing sense of purpose.”

Monsef then encouraged residents to meet the riders, learn about the cause, and donate when possible.

All proceeds are going towards the Canadian Cancer Society for childhood cancer research and Camp Goodtimes – a summer camp for children with or recovering from pediatric cancer.

The regional tour has raised $236,400 of its $285,000 goal at the time of writing.
