New art and science presentation at Chilliwack Cultural Centre to explore early human creation

CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is inviting residents to explore the earliest stages of human development in an upcoming presentation.

“Art of Science: Miracles in the Womb” is coming to the Centre on October 15, where Dr. Mark Evered takes attendees on a journey through how internal and external sex organs develop, how the brain and body build gender identity and sexual orientation, and why everyone comes out with their own unique blend of traits.

“It is an illuminating look at the science of becoming who we are and a reminder of just how extraordinary the human body can be,” said the Centre. 

The Art of Science series is jointly presented by Chilliwack Elder College.
