It’s not immediately clear if the store will open at another location in Chilliwack. Its last social media post on Facebook was October 29, 2024, a post urging customers to stock up on Diwali essentials. Its Facebook page has 806 followers. Its Instagram page hasn’t had a post for over two years.

Aside from this vacancy, the shopping centre at 5725 Vedder Road appears fully tenanted with notable tenants like HingLung Chinese Restaurant, Anytime Fitness, Gon Sushi and Big Box Outlet Store.

Valley Supermarket should not be confused with a similar Indian grocery store, Vedder Supermarket, just up the road at 5885 Vedder Road.

That store, Vedder Supermarket, is open for business offering Indian groceries, fresh produce and dairy.
