UPDATE: Power restored to hundreds NE of Mission Sunday night

UPDATE, 11:45 P.M. SUNDAY: Power is back on for hundreds of customers northeast of Mission.

NORTHEAST OF MISSION – Hundreds of BC Hydro customers northeast of Mission have been without power for several hours Sunday night due to a downed tree across hydro lines.

Approximately 797 customers lost power in the Miracle Valley and Durieu areas northeast of Mission at 7:30 p.m. Sunday night (Aug. 23) due to a downed tree.
