Downed tree leaves hundreds without power in Mission for several hours Sunday night

MISSION – Hundreds of BC Hydro customers northeast of Mission have been without power for several hours Sunday night due to a downed tree across hydro lines.

Approximately 797 customers lost power in the Miracle Valley and Durieu areas northeast of Mission at 7:30 p.m. Sunday night (Aug. 23) due to a downed tree.

Crews are currently on scene as of 10:22 p.m. Sunday night.

Power is expected to be restored by 11:25 p.m.
