CHILLIWACK – A landlord tenancy termination notice has been posted outside a shuttered games business in Chilliwack.

While Dragon Guild appears to have been closed for several months based on comments from social media users, a landlord termination notice dated July 24, 2026, has been posted outside the store at 6640 Vedder Road, unit 120A, in the Vedder Pointe shopping centre.

The Vedder Pointe shopping centre is home to anchor tenants like Shoppers Drug Mart, BMO, Tim Hortons and Dollarama.

The notice of termination and notice of quit from 6640 Vedder Road Holdings Ltd., the landlord, reveals that a lease was signed with Dragon Guild on December 21, 2022. The notice said the tenant was in default of its obligations under the lease due to failure to pay rent and additional rent. As a result, the landlord has terminated the tenancy effective immediately in accordance with its rights under the lease. The notice also states the landlord exercises its rights to re-enter the premises and take possession of the commercial unit.
