Dispatch told firefighters they’ve received multiple calls/reports about the wildfire.

BC Wildfire Service has been notified and is sending personnel and a helicopter from Hope.

Chilliwack Fire Department Halls 3, 4 and 6 have been paged to respond.

A BCWS helicopter has arrived on scene as of approximately 2:10 p.m.

Dispatch paged CRVFD firefighters for additional manpower at approximately 2:35 p.m.

Dispatch noted that additional BC Wildfire Service personnel are en route to this fire and Cultus Lake Fire who had been asked to assist can stand down (3:19 p.m.).
