VANCOUVER — Canada’s captain Alphonso Davies continues to work his way back from a hamstring injury as the nation prepares for its second FIFA World Cup game.

The star left back warmed up with his teammates ahead of training on Monday, but remains in return-to-play protocols and was not expected to take part in the full session.

All other players were available for full training, including central defender Moïse Bombito, who is getting back to full health after fracturing his tibia while playing for OGC Nice in October.

The Canadian men are getting ready to take on Qatar at BC Place Stadium on Thursday after opening the tournament with a 1-1 draw against Bosnia-Herzegovina last Friday in Toronto.
