1 taken to hospital after another car rolls over in Chilliwack Friday afternoon

CHILLIWACK — Another vehicle rolled over not long after a blue car flipped on its side on Stevenson and Vedder Road Friday afternoon (June 12).

The incident took place just before 3:30 p.m. in the 45000 block of Commercial Court, right next to the Petro-Canada.

Police, Fire and an ambulance with primary care paramedics responded to the scene.

Images from the scene show a mangled fence and crews taking down a light standard as a result of the crash.

Fraser Valley Today reporter Mike Vanden Bosch spoke to a family member on scene, who said the driver was the sole occupant of the blue SUV.

They added that a white Honda Civic had clipped the SUV, knocking it out of its lane before continuing to drive away from the scene of the crash.

BCEHS says paramedics gave emergency medical care to one patient, who was taken to hospital in stable condition.
