Another service interruption at Mission Memorial Hospital

MISSION — Fraser Health has issued another temporary overnight closure at the Mission Memorial Hospital’s emergency department starting tonight.

At 5 p.m. Sunday, June 7, the interruption will begin to ensure a doctor can see all patients already in the E.R. before shifts end at 11 p.m.

Emergency-trained nurses will once again be on site to support patients who need basic care and redirect anyone with urgent needs to a neighbouring hospital.

Anyone with non-urgent needs is encouraged to call Fraser Health Virtual Care until 10 p.m., visit the Mission Urgent and Primary Care Centre until 8 p.m., or call the 24/7 Fraser Health Crisis Line at 1-877-820-7444.
