Chilliwack Cultural Centre to host kids’ art camps this summer

CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is looking to paint colourful memories for young artists with a new set of classes this summer.

From July 13 to August 14, the Centre will be inviting kids between the ages of five and 11 to take part in classes ranging from drawing and puppet-making – to building books and acting in theatre games and improv.

“With a flexible class schedule fit for those with busy lives, this is an entertaining and wildly diverse opportunity for your child to explore their inner artist and make new friends!” wrote the Centre.

Sessions are set to run from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on weekdays, with each day split into five one-hour blocks tackling two different classes for each age group.
