“The hardest thing we’ve ever had to deal with,” Tony Gore said of his sister’s battle with cancer. “Jill always battled back after treatments. She was definitely a pillar in our family. Just trying to be strong like she would want.”

Jill is being remembered as a committed, devoted wife to Matt Hall and a caring mother to Luke and Sarah. She is survived by her parents, Margaret and Glen Gore, and her brothers and their families: Mark and Sherri Gore (children Jack and Chris, grandchild Audrey), Lee and Irene Gore (Megan, Jesse, Amber, and Jacob), and Tony and Cheryl Gore (Wyatt and Naomi).

Jill devoted countless hours toward bringing attention to radon awareness, working toward a goal of amending the provincial building code and encouraging realtor involvement to ensure homes were safe for families.

Jill was also a news contributor to Fraser Valley Today, providing a multitude of pictures from events around Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley over the past four years.
