ABBOTSFORD — While many missing persons have never been found, there’s a happy outcome to the story of a 14-year-old Abbotsford teenager who was reported missing early Tuesday morning (Dec. 6).
The Abbotsford Police Department reported on Twitter at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday that the female teenager has been located and she is safe and sound.
“UPDATE: Missing Person Shay-Lin NIELSEN has been located this morning safe and sound,” Abby PD wrote on Twitter. “Thanks to everyone who assisted. The original post has been removed.”
Previously, Abby PD posted on Twitter in the middle of the night early Tuesday morning that the teenager was last seen in the Bakerview School vicinity.
