23-year-old man who visited Abbotsford to sell coke and meth gets arrested: AbbyPD
ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford say a 23-year-old man who allegedly came to Abbotsford on Wednesday to sell drugs like meth, coke and fentanyl was arrested as a result of a traffic stop.
According to a statement from AbbyPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker, members of the Abbotsford Police Department Gang Crime Unit (GCU) continue their targeted enforcement against individuals involved in gang violence and the distribution of illegal drugs within our community.
On Wednesday, May 27, at just after 10 a.m., officers made an arrest as part of these ongoing operations. During a traffic stop, a 23-year-old man who allegedly visited Abbotsford to sell drugs was arrested.
A search of his vehicle revealed a bag containing methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl. In total, over 11 ounces of drugs were seized, with an estimated street value of approximately $11,000. Officers also seized his vehicle, a Honda Civic, and $1,905 in cash, and a forfeiture application is being pursued.
