PENTICTON — The RCMP say a 36-year-old man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with a 2022 double homicide in Penticton, B.C.
Police say the BC Prosecution Service has approved two counts of first-degree murder against Yves “Oliver” Grenier in connection with the deaths of Douglas Barker and Alannah Brown.
RCMP say the investigation began in September 2022 after police were called to the Penticton area, where the remains of two victims were found.
Police say since that time, the major crime investigators have been looking for evidence, working on witness interviews, and conducting forensic analysis.
