Transit riders in Chilliwack should expect delays due to snow

CHILLIWACK — B.C. Transit, the operator of several bus routes across Chilliwack, posted on Twitter Wednesday morning (Nov. 30) that riders in four cities should expect delays throughout its Fraser Valley service areas.

B.C. Transit advised on social media that riders in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission and Hope should expect delays on all routes.

B.C. Transit posted an alert at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday morning stating that the Fraser Valley Express, or Route 66, will be delayed due to heavy traffic and road conditions on Highway 1. As a result, FVX Route 66 will be delayed.

Other routes in Chilliwack will be running slow, including Route 51 (Vedder), Route 52 (Evans), Route 53 (Chilliwack), Route 54 (Promontory), Route 55 (Yarrow-Greendale), Route 57 (Broadway), Route 58 (Tyson), and Route 59 (Industrial). All these routes should expect delays.
