ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department is reminding Fraser Valley motorists to plan for a safe ride home during the festive Christmas season.

Especially after they arrested a 33-year-old man who crashed the vehicle he was driving through a fence and into a residential backyard sometime Friday night.

Abbotsford Police posted to Facebook Saturday morning (Nov. 26) that it removed seven people from the road for high-risk driving activities in just six hours alone.

Abby PD wrote on Facebook that the homeowners were not injured when the vehicle came crashing through their fence and into their backyard, but the reckless 33-year-old man, who was not identified, faces what police call “criminal charges.”
