Abbotsford Police looking to speak with owner of Tesla seen near the scene of Wednesday’s pedestrian hit and run
ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford are asking for the public’s assistance in their investigation into a pedestrian collision on Wednesday (Feb. 11) at Ross Road and Simpson Road.
The collision occurred just after 7 p.m. and sent two pedestrians to hospital, one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police have determined the victims were struck by a red or maroon coloured Mazda sedan. The vehicle left the scene immediately.
Police are hoping to talk to the driver of a Tesla that was seen in the area around the time of the collision. They believe that the vehicle may have critical video footage of the incident.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been driving in the area with a dashcam to come forward with their video by contacting Abbotsford Police at 604-859-5225.
