Hope Arena evacuated after incident Sunday
HOPE – The ice arena in Hope was evacuated this past weekend after an incident with its refrigeration plant.
According to a statement from the FVRD-managed recreation centre, an incident on Sunday (Feb. 8) involving the arena’s refrigeration facility resulted in the deployment of the arena’s public safety protocols, including an evacuation of the facility.
The arena did not specify or reveal exactly what happened with the refrigeration facility.
