Calgary Stampeders re-sign Canadian wide receiver Clark Barnes
CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed Canadian receiver Clark Barnes, the CFL team announced Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Barnes was eligible to become a free agent on Feb. 10.
The 25-year-old from Brampton, Ont., had a career-high 601 receiving yards with two touchdowns in 14 regular-season games last season.
He added four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in Calgary’s 33-30 loss to B.C. in the West semifinal.
