CHILLIWACK — For parents or kids who just can’t wait for Halloween on Monday night, Southside Church off South Sumas Road is offering a community Halloween event in a two-hour window tonight (October 29).
Southside Church invites the community to its Trunk-or-Treat event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., where candy and other goodies will be passed out from vehicle to vehicle. Kids are more than welcome to dress up in their favourite costume, even parents for that matter.
There is a medium chance of showers forecast for throughout the day in Chilliwack, according to Environment Canada. Heavy rain is slated to begin at midnight, giving Trunk-or-Treat organizers time before the storm arrives.
