Head over to Heritage Park for the start of the 38th annual Rotary book sale Sunday

CHILLIWACK — Book lovers in search of a great deal have a reason to leave the house and battle the heavy rains scheduled to fall all day Sunday.

The Rotary Club of Chilliwack will hold its 38th annual Rotary book sale starting Sunday, October 30 until Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. inside Heritage Park, 44140 Luckakuck Way.

Since 1984, the Rotary Club of Chilliwack has held its annual book sale to raise funds for community and international projects. It relies on the community of Chilliwack for donations of reading materials. Throughout the year, a dedicated team of Rotarians, friends and community members sort the donated books. Rotary says its members are very thankful for the generosity of the Chilliwack community.

Cash, debit or credit are all gladly accepted, but please don’t bring cheques or expect to use e-transfers. American cash will be accepted at par. Also, please don’t bring books to donate as there are other avenues to contribute unwanted books.
