Highway 1 widening through Langley moves forward with new Glover Road crossing, paving way for an extra lane each direction
LANGLEY — One of the biggest travel hassles for motorists and commuters heading westbound on Highway 1 to Vancouver involves the traffic bottlenecks that regularly occur between Abbotsford and Langley, at least until the HOV lane opens up near Exit 61 westbound.
The provincial government hopes to alleviate at least some of those chronic traffic bottlenecks by announcing Wednesday that work to improve travel times on Highway 1 through the Township of Langley is moving ahead with the replacement of the Glover Road crossing.
