Traffic-pattern changes incoming for Highway 1 to support 232nd Street overpass demolition
LANGLEY — Drivers might see traffic delays on Highway 1 between 248th Street and Glover Road as work to widen the Fraser Valley corridor continues over the next couple of weekends.
From 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, to 10:30 a.m. the next day, crews will divert westbound Highway 1 lanes to install a highway crossover that will let traffic flow both ways in the eastbound lanes. Both the westbound on- and off-ramps at 232nd Street will be closed during the diversion.
The following week, from September 19 to 20, in the same hours, a similar highway crossover will continue on the eastbound Highway 1 lanes. During the crossover, traffic will be allowed in both directions on the westbound Highway 1.
The eastbound off-ramp at 232nd Street will be closed, but the on-ramp will stay open.
