Among her key priorities, Beausoleil says she supports local businesses and entrepreneurs by cultivating a strong, diverse local economy; promoting responsible economic growth that balances opportunity with thoughtful community planning; maintaining fiscal transparency and accountability by ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly; protecting ag land and preserving Chilliwack’s important agricultural land; keeping residents safe through safe neighbourhoods where families can thrive; and supporting downtown revitalization and investment where city centres are vibrant and welcoming. If elected, she says she’ll support initiatives that contribute to a healthy and connected community while backing responsible environmental stewardship for Chilliwack’s natural environment.

When it comes to effective municipal leadership, Beausoleil says it starts by listening to residents and bringing people together to solve problems.

“Throughout my career and volunteer work, I’ve learned that the best solutions often come when we bring different perspectives together,” said Beausoleil. “I want to be a councillor who listens first, asks thoughtful questions, works collaboratively and focuses on practical solutions.”

Her approach to public service is grounded in three core values: service, responsible leadership and collaboration.

“Chilliwack has given my family and me so much, and I believe in giving back through service,” Beausoleil said. “I’m running because I care about this community and want to help ensure Chilliwack remains a great place to live, work, raise a family and build a future.”
