Warning issued after sex worker in Burnaby, B.C., restrained at gunpoint and robbed

BURNABY — Police in Burnaby have issued a warning to sex workers after one was forcibly confined and robbed at gunpoint.

Mounties say the attack happened Saturday at a home in the city.

They say the victim was restrained and robbed at gunpoint by two men, who then fled.

The victim was not physically injured.

Investigators say they have yet to identify the suspects and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
