Abbotsford residents evacuated from their home as police seek to arrest man

ABBOTSFORD – The Abbotsford Police Department says its patrol officers are currently stationed outside a home on McCallum Road as they attempt to arrest a man in conjunction with an ongoing investigation.

Police reported at approximately 1:23 p.m. that they are positioned in the 1500 block of McCallum Road in partnership with personnel from the Lower Mainland District Integrated Emergency Response Team, who are assisting and on scene.

The 1500 block of McCallum Road is located south of Highway 1 just west of the University of the Fraser Valley campus in Abbotsford.
