Blue Jays get pitcher Jameson Taillon from Cubs in trade for player to be named later
TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays got right-handed pitcher Jameson Taillon and cash considerations in a trade with the Chicago Cubs on Sunday.
Chicago will get a player to be named later or cash considerations.
In a corresponding move, Toronto moved infielder Lenyn Sosa to its 60-day injured list.
Taillon, 34, has a 5.92 earned-run average over 15 starts with the Cubs this season.
