Gray has 26 points, Angel Reese records double-double as Dream defeats Tempo 102-77
TORONTO — Allisha Gray had 26 points and Angel Reese recorded a double-double as the Atlanta Dream defeated the Toronto Tempo 102-77 in WNBA action Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
Gray hit on eight-of-14 shots from the field and was five-of-nine from three-point range as Atlanta (9-4) earned its first win over the expansion Tempo. Rhyne Howard added 24 points and three blocked shots for the Dream while Reese posted 15 points and 17 rebounds.
Centre Isabelle Harrison scored 17 points for Toronto (7-7) before being ejected in the third quarter. She was charged with a flagrant foul following a clash for a rebound with Reese that ended in a brief altercation as the Tempo dropped their first home game since May 23.
Tempo point guard Julie Allemand had 13 points with six assists while María Conde scored 12 points.
