Traffic stalled after accident on Highway 11 in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD — Traffic had been stalled for a few minutes on a section of Highway 11 due to a motor vehicle incident late Saturday morning (Apr. 4).

Scanner traffic reported that two BCEHS ambulances responded to the incident on the intersection of Sumas Way and South Fraser Way at around 11:25 a.m.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient, who was transported to hospital in stable condition,” PHSA told Fraser Valley Today.

Motorists added that traffic has been reduced to a single lane on Highway 11 southbound as a result.

Google Maps reported an eight-minute delay in the area at the time of writing.
