CHILLIWACK – The Sardis Falcons football program says it is proud to announce that two of its standouts this past season will advance to the next level this fall to play U Sports football.

In a statement, Sardis Falcons football coach Sukh Parmar says senior receiver Alex Cayer and defensive tackle Mostafa Mohajermoghaddam have committed to Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, where they will continue both their academic and football careers.

Both athletes were key contributors to the Sardis Falcons football program and served as team captains, earning respect through their work ethic, leadership, and consistency on and off the field.

“Strong students and dedicated teammates, Cayer and Mohajermoghaddam exemplify the values of the Sardis football program and have played an important role in setting the standard for future Falcons,” Coach Parmar said.

Cayer was an outstanding receiver and defensive back player during his junior and senior seasons, showcasing versatility and football IQ on both sides of the ball. His performance earned him conference all-star recognition in his junior year. He amassed 700 yards and eight touchdowns on offence and registered five interceptions and roughly 40 tackles on defence.

Mohajermoghaddam anchored both the offensive and defensive lines in his junior and senior seasons, providing leadership and physical presence in the trenches. His consistent excellence was recognized with conference all-star selections in both seasons.

Cayer and Mohajermoghaddam will join fellow Sardis Falcons Kaein Jenner, defensive back, and Zach Wolter, linebacker, at Mount Allison, continuing a growing pipeline from Sardis Secondary to the Mounties football program.

“The Sardis Falcons community congratulates Alex and Mostafa on this outstanding achievement and wishes them continued success as they move on to university football and higher education,” Parmar said.
