City of Chilliwack seeks paid photographers for Canada Day 2025

CHILLIWACK — The City of Chilliwack has extended a photographer call-out as it prepares for this year’s Canada Day festivities in Chilliwack.

According to a social media post from the municipality, the city says it is now accepting submissions from photographers who are interested in capturing some of the activities surrounding Canada Day festivities on July 1, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The City of Chilliwack says it will retain ownership of the photos for future marketing purposes and provide images for sponsorship fulfillments, vendors, reports and the like.

The City says it welcomes submissions from qualified photographers who have a relationship to Chilliwack and from those who are willing to sign a legal contract with the city. For obvious reasons, prospective photographers must be able to work on Canada Day in Chilliwack from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
