Chilliwack RCMP say 40-year-old man reported missing in early March has died

CHILLIWACK — A 40-year-old man who was the subject of a missing persons alert in March and was reportedly on his way to a friend’s house in Chilliwack in February has been found deceased.

According to a statement from Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener, police say the man was located deceased. The cause of his death is not considered suspicious.

“The RCMP offers its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” Cpl. Kiener said in a statement.

Police released no other details about the man.
