UPDATE AT 12:15 p.m. — BC Hydro’s outage map reflects the restoration of power to nearly one thousand customers in Lindell Beach, has been completed. The power for 38 customers east of Canyon Road, is expected to be restored by 4:30 p.m.
LINDELL — Over 1,000 BC Hydro customers south of Lindell Beach in the Columbia Valley are without power Friday morning (Jan. 12).
According to an outage map from BC Hydro, 968 customers in Lindell Beach, Columbia Valley and on homes bordering the U.S. border along Henderson Road have been without power since 1:46 a.m.
BC Hydro says the cause is under investigation. Crews have been assigned and are expected to arrive by 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.
