LANGLEY — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it’s lifting a control zone in Langley Township issued in November after a bird flu outbreak.

The agency says it lifts control zone orders when no more cases of avian flu are detected.

It says the primary control zone in Langley was first put in place on November 5th after detecting an outbreak.

The agency says there are currently 42 infected premises in B-C, and avian flu outbreaks have affected more than six million birds in the province.
