G.W. Graham prepares to host South Delta in High School football quarterfinal

CHILLIWACK — The G.W. Graham Grizzlies have learned who they will be facing in Friday’s second round high-school football playoff game.
The Grizzlies will be facing the South Delta Sun Devils, after the Sun Devils narrowly defeated Lord Tweedsmuir 14 – 13 Friday (Nov. 11) afternoon at McLeod stadium in Langley.
By virtue of their 5 – 1 regular season record, the Grizzlies earned a bye through the first round of the playoffs. Friday night’s quarter-final game kick-off is at 7 p.m. in Chilliwack.
Meantime the Jr. Varsity Grizzlies defeated the St. Thomas More Knights 44 – 37 in weekend action. They will play the Vancouver College Fighting Irish Thursday (Nov. 17) at O’Hagan Field at 1 p.m.
