Heavy police presence floods Mission neighbourhood Thursday morning

MISSION — A spokesperson for the Mission RCMP detachment says Emergency Response Team members executed a search warrant at a home Thursday morning in Mission.

Mission RCMP spokesperson Corporal Harrison Mohr says says ERT members attended a residence on Cherry Avenue west of Cedar Street Thursday in relation to an ongoing investigation by Ridge Meadows RCMP members.

Police remain on scene, and the RCMP can confirm that the investigation is directed toward one specific residence and there is no risk to the public.
