Pub Night fundraiser, auction underway

Chilliwack pet food bank holding fundraiser, online auction to support over 500 local pets each month

CHILLIWACK – A Chilliwack pet food bank society has grown to the point it provides supplies to over 500 pets and 250 pet owners each month, and it hopes to continue that generosity through an upcoming fundraiser and an online auction that’s already underway.

Julie Chadwick with Zoey’s Pawsome Pet Society based in Chilliwack says the non-profit will hold its second annual fundraiser with a pub night at Corky’s Irish Pub on Saturday, April 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Corky’s is located at unit 3, 45844 Yale Road in Chilliwack near FreshCo.

Tickets are $20, which gets you a burger and fries. There’s also a vegetarian burger option. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly as well, Chadwick says.

The evening consists of dinner, a stellar auction, 50/50 draws and toonie tosses. To get tickets, please email them at zoeyspawsomepets@gmail.com.

Zoey’s Pawsome Pets Society recently celebrated its one-year anniversary in January 2026, and currently assists an average of 280 families each month and 520 pets, Chadwick told Fraser Valley Today. Naturally, they rely on a dedicated roster of energetic volunteers.
